Job Overview

The Project Management Analyst plays a crucial role within the project team, assisting in various administrative and programmatic tasks that support the Engineering Manager and the technical team. This position is essential for the successful execution of programs related to Chemical and Biological Defense, Damage Control & Firefighting, and Anti-terrorism initiatives.

The Project Management Analyst is tasked with a range of responsibilities, including:

  1. Managing facility requests through the ARCHIBUS system.
  2. Preparing personnel documentation for recruitment processes.
  3. Handling employee account requests via the EDW tracker.
  4. Reviewing System Authorization Access Requests (SAARs) for accuracy and submitting them for further action.
  5. Drafting various correspondence in accordance with the Department of Navy Correspondence Manual.
  6. Processing purchase requests as needed.
  7. Utilizing knowledge of organizational structure to assist with employee inquiries and tasks.
  8. Providing support for travel-related queries.
  9. Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  10. Assisting with mail distribution within the branch.
  11. Exhibiting a personable and adaptable demeanor while managing multiple office functions.
  12. Completing additional related duties as assigned.
  13. Gathering data from primary sources to aid in the compilation of project reports and ensuring data accuracy.
  14. Creating visual presentations to effectively communicate project data through tables, charts, and graphs.
  15. Drafting sections of reports to present project information and recommendations clearly.
  16. Coordinating project activities and maintaining records to document progress.
  17. Researching and addressing project data issues by analyzing problems and proposing solutions.
  18. Participating in project meetings by providing information and drafting necessary documentation.
  19. Engaging in data collection, analysis, and reporting activities.
  20. Monitoring project progress using relevant management tools.
  21. Supporting the execution and monitoring of project work plans to ensure proper scheduling and reporting.
  22. Assisting in the preparation of reports and project documentation.
  23. Organizing meeting agendas and recording minutes.
  24. Managing various correspondence as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • An active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office.
  • A minimum of 2 years supporting senior or executive management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Military experience or prior support roles are advantageous.
