We are in search of a friendly and patient-oriented individual to take on the role of a Healthcare Customer Service Associate at our organization.

This position operates during standard business hours, typically within a Monday to Friday schedule.

Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks related to patient engagement and support, including welcoming and registering patients, as well as confirming the accuracy of information provided by them. The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks effectively is essential.

Success in the role of a Healthcare Customer Service Associate requires the ability to facilitate communication among patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage incoming calls and either direct the caller appropriately or address their inquiries directly.
  • Welcome patients upon their arrival, assist with the check-in process, and gather necessary insurance details.
  • Distribute intake and new patient documentation along with copies of office policies and required legal forms.
  • Process patient payments for co-pays and services rendered.
  • Coordinate appointments for both new and returning patients based on physician availability.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage files within our electronic health record system.
  • Contact patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and assist in scheduling additional services.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients as necessary.

  • Physically capable of working in a fast-paced and often demanding environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
