Position Overview:
The Patient Care Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for patients within the surgical environment. This position is designed for individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional support to patients in various stages of their surgical journey.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in preparing patients for procedures by taking vital signs, documenting information, and ensuring they are comfortably dressed in preoperative attire.
2. Facilitate the transition of patients from recovery phases, providing support during discharge and ensuring safe transportation.
3. Support patients with daily living activities as required, demonstrating compassion and attentiveness.
4. Collaborate with medical professionals in the procedure room, assisting as necessary to enhance patient care.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas, ensuring all supplies are adequately stocked and ready for use.
6. Adapt to various roles within the center, providing assistance wherever needed to ensure a seamless patient experience.


Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS certification or completion upon hire.

- Adhere to company policies and healthcare regulations.
- Exhibit reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and team members.
- Demonstrate flexibility in workload management to meet operational needs.
