Customer Service Leader

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Leader. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading front-end operations, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage front-end operations, including cash handling, customer service, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with store management to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Train and develop front-end associates to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean store environment, adhering to company safety standards.
- Perform cashier and service desk functions, as needed.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or food service.
- Knowledge of store operations and inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
