Director of Risk Management
Furnished Finder is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Director to join our leadership team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management strategies to ensure the company's operational and strategic risk are identified, evaluated, mitigated, and monitored.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks.
- Ensure the organization's risk management policies and strategies are compliant with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives.
- Define the risk management architecture for the company.
- Monitor and analyze risks within the company's business units.
- Establish metrics and develop reporting scorecards to evaluate business on adherence to overall risk management strategy.
- Promote data privacy by implementing protocols that ensure accountability in the use and access of data.
- Provide key inputs into the company's enterprise risk and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop data governance policies and compliance standards in collaboration with the Security and Legal departments.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in risk management, data governance, or similar leadership role.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with PCI-DSS, SOX, and SOC1.
- In-depth understanding of operational risk, including Operational Risk Policy, Framework & Program elements such as RCSAs, KRIs, Scenario Analysis, Loss Analytics.
- Experience conducting risk assessments across multiple technology platforms, including cloud and data center.
- Deep understanding and ability to implement best practices in the industry.
- Strong experience establishing metrics and developing scorecards to measure success and areas for improvement.
- Business process understanding (direct experience in managing a process with accountability for compliance or operational risk preferred).
- Experience working with a GRC platform preferred.
- Interpret security policies & provide guidance to IT and development organizations to establish and achieve compliance standards.
- Basel II operational risk management knowledge preferred.
