Job Overview

Azimuth Corporation is in search of a Mid-Level Project Manager to support a Government Client. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, development, testing, and documentation of various projects. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this position encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing business process enhancements, modernizing project approaches, and reengineering outdated methodologies.
  • Assisting agency teams in the formulation and oversight of project milestones, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Possessing a background in CBRNE and/or Biosurveillance, or related experience.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest trends in AI systems and software architectures, including design patterns and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders to develop product lines.
  • Creating strategic plans, roadmaps, and software design strategies, while analyzing and breaking down activities and requirements into software designs across system components.
  • Documenting compliance standards and developing reference architectures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with modern software architectures, including microservices and front-end frameworks.
  • Preferred experience in DevSecOps.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage proactively with colleagues across various departments.
  • Capability to synthesize requirements for feature requests, propose alternative technical and business solutions, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository system (MARS), Open Mission Systems bridge, and Open-Source Intelligence.
  • A proven track record of active learning and innovative problem-solving abilities.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
Physical Requirements / Travel
  • Ability to work in an office setting at a desk and computer.
  • Potential travel of approximately 10% for conferences, program reviews, or collaborative events, primarily within the continental United States.
