Position Overview:

The Project Control Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and performance of projects. This position involves providing comprehensive analysis and support to the Senior Earned Value Specialist, focusing on the management and oversight of financial metrics, cost, schedule, and overall project performance to fulfill contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Control Account Managers (CAMs) in gathering and validating status data.
  • Support the creation of Variance Analysis Reports (VARs), detailing Description, Impact, and Corrective Action.
  • Collaborate with CAMs, Program Managers, and EV Specialists to update the Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Complete (EAC).
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Update Earned Value Management (EVM) charts and prepare Program Management Report (PMR) presentations.
  • Maintain the Budget Control Log (BCL) for accurate financial tracking.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related analytical discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in large software development programs, Earned Value Management, or project controls.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Deltek COBRA is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Project, including managing baselines and schedule updates.
  • Understanding of Earned Value concepts such as BCWS, BCWP, CV, SV, and TCPI is desirable.
