Position Summary: Are you a seasoned estimator with a keen eye for precision and detail? We are looking for a Lead Electrical Cost Estimator to join our partner electrical contracting company. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the estimating process for intricate electrical projects, offering guidance and expertise to the estimating team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage the electrical estimating process from inception to completion
  • Evaluate project specifications and formulate comprehensive cost estimates
  • Examine project documentation, including drawings and blueprints, to ascertain the scope of work
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure pricing for materials and equipment
  • Craft and deliver competitive bids and proposals
  • Guide and mentor junior estimators, providing necessary support and training
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior-level electrical estimating
  • Expertise in electrical estimating software such as Accubid, McCormick, or ConEst
  • Thorough understanding of electrical systems and construction methodologies
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
