Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified Senior MEP Estimator who can effectively meet client goals through superior cost management services. The role involves delivering mechanical and/or electrical estimates and cost consulting for a diverse range of large-scale construction projects across key sectors such as Real Estate, Data Centers, High-Tech & Manufacturing, Life Sciences, and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present comprehensive cost plans.
  • Estimate costs at various project stages, including conceptual and detailed levels.
  • Assist in feasibility studies and prepare procurement documentation.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including pre-qualification, bid analysis, and contract documentation.
  • Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • Conduct cost checks and valuations on significant projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and present findings to clients.
  • Contribute to value engineering initiatives and negotiate final accounts.
  • Maintain communication with clients and consultants throughout all project phases.
  • Lead the cost management team as necessary, ensuring accountability in deliverables.
  • Identify and report opportunities for business development with existing clients.
  • Propose enhancements to cost management procedures and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems within the construction industry.
  • Strong technical background in cost management, including pre-contract, post-contract, and final account processes.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction procurement methods.
  • Experience advising clients on value management and lifecycle costing.
  • Diverse industry experience is advantageous.
Additional Information:
