Role Overview

We are seeking a Community Relations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with nonprofit organizations to develop and execute Globe Life's charitable giving initiatives. This individual will build positive relationships that support the Globe Life mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and present charitable giving opportunities for Globe Life and its affiliates.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations.
  • Plan and execute hands-on activities that support Globe Life's Mission.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to engage employees and agents in charitable giving initiatives.
  • Travel with Globe Life affiliates to raise funds and build engagement with local organizations.
  • Review charitable giving requests to ensure alignment with established guidelines.
  • Support the Globe Life Foundation and Charitable Giving Sub-Committee by preparing and presenting updates.
  • Document processes and report charitable giving impact.
Requirements
  • B.A. in Marketing, Public Relations, or other relevant degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Three years of relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft and Windows.
  • Preferred working knowledge of project management, design, and proofing tools.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Passion to make a difference.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and team player.
  • Excellent verbal skills and ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
