Job Description

A leading podcast and audiobook company is seeking an Accounting Systems Integration Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will collaborate with business, finance, and technical teams to deliver world-class revenue accounting systems solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create automated revenue accounting systems to streamline program delivery across accounting.
  • Analyze financial systems integrations from a product perspective to determine how to correctly calculate and automate revenues and refunds.
  • Develop work documents, including journal entry wrapping files and other accounting and business requirements documents.
  • Gather requirements and provide advisory on accounting processes and systems to ensure consistent and efficient execution of all functions across accounting.
  • Drive continuous process improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on the design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in accounting, including some experience with accounting and/or finance systems integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related financial field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Master's degree or Accounting certification (CMA or CPA) preferred.
  • Solid experience using Workday accounting and finance modules.
  • Experience managing accounting process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules.
  • Experience in systems integration and automation.
  • Experience in accounting projects, including requirement gathering and testing in environments with distributed systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and make an impact.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
