Event Guest Services Associate

SUMMARY:
Deliver outstanding service to our patrons, ensuring a memorable experience at our events. Responsibilities may vary and will be adjusted to accommodate the needs of each occasion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Participate in event briefings, noting any updates on the information sheet.
+ Guide guests to their designated seats and assist with inquiries regarding facilities (e.g., restrooms, ATMs, concession stands).
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for guest assistance throughout the venue.
+ Maintain comprehensive knowledge of venue policies, procedures, and event specifics.
+ Distribute information and updates regarding the venue.
+ Be attentive to guest feedback, both positive and negative, and relay this to your supervisor.
+ Provide ADA services as required and requested.
+ Collaborate with supervisors or managers to assist guests with seating issues or ADA needs when applicable.
+ Strive to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
+ Ensure that floors and aisles remain clear of obstacles.
+ Report any suspicious behavior to your supervisor.
+ Be prepared to work at various events, including but not limited to sports games.
+ Regular attendance is crucial for this role.
+ The position requires the ability to work across all local ASM Global venues.
+ Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Report to the Guest Experience Manager in the appropriate uniform for your assigned location and attend pre-event briefings.
+ Initiate eye contact with guests within 10 feet and greet them within 5 feet.
+ Maintain a friendly demeanor.
+ Avoid negative body language.
+ Exhibit confidence and capability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Meet the physical demands of the role, which include mobility throughout the facility, lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, and enduring moderate to loud noise levels.
+ Work effectively under pressure and adhere to strict schedules while delivering accurate results.
+ Possess a friendly and approachable personality.
+ Excellent customer service skills are essential.
+ Adhere to grooming and dress code standards.
+ Collaborate well with others.
+ Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.
+ Proficiency in English is required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
+ High School Diploma or GED is required.
+ Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary. A positive attitude and a welcoming smile are essential.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Capability to collaborate with co-workers and staff at all levels.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires flexibility to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role involves significant walking, standing, bending, climbing stairs, and the potential to lift up to 30 lbs.
