Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Receive, sort, and deliver mail and packages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage mailroom operations, including wrapping, sealing, weighing, and affixing postage on outgoing mail and packages.
  • Prepare special outgoing inter-office pouches and packages for client affiliates.
  • Package and process outgoing overnight items, such as Federal Express and UPS, to meet client and vendor deadlines.
  • Log and deliver incoming overnight packages within established time frames.
  • Perform routine and some complex functions of various equipment and systems, including faxing, scanning, metering, and photocopying.
  • Provide minor maintenance of photocopy machines, such as solving paper jams and routine cleanings.
  • Operate facsimile machines, send and receive faxes, and keep accurate logs of incoming and outgoing faxes.
  • Perform other administrative duties, including inserting, copying, and photocopying, as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a mailroom or professional office environment.
  • Basic knowledge of metering, weighing, logging, and other shipping procedures.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to perform routine and some complex functions of various equipment and systems.
  • Excellent customer service, professional attitude, and appearance are a must.
  • Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines.
