Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and families.
- Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and intake processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Manage patient calls and inquiries, responding promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate patient appointments, updating insurance and billing information as needed.
- Perform point-of-service activities, including collecting copays and recording accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding patient flow and wait times.
- Issue referrals and obtain pre-authorizations as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance requirements and billing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- 2+ years of medical office experience or 2 years of customer service experience.
- Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
