Position Overview:
This role is designated for the Air Mobility Command. The primary responsibilities include managing and confirming room bookings through various communication channels such as letters, phone calls, emails, or face-to-face interactions. The individual will register guests, allocate rooms, issue room keys, and may provide assistance in escorting guests to their accommodations as necessary.

It is crucial to ensure that only authorized individuals utilize government-sponsored lodging. The role involves calculating and recording charges to guest accounts, ensuring accurate balance with control records. Payment processing, change handling, and presenting checkout statements to departing guests are also key duties.

Additional responsibilities include preparing and securing cash receipts, generating daily cashier reports, and maintaining an updated checkout list. The individual will also manage sundry sales items for patrons and uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

The position requires ensuring that all necessary information is collected from guests and accurately entered into their folios. Backup reports from the property management system must be printed, and housekeeping statuses of rooms should be regularly updated. Reporting maintenance issues as communicated by guests is essential, along with maintaining cleanliness in the front desk area and lobby.

The role includes processing Night Audit procedures and closing credit card transactions nightly, as well as managing the lost and found program. Exceptional customer service must remain the top priority.

Qualifications:
Open to all applicants. Candidates will be assessed based on their qualifications and relevant experience.

Experience is defined as both paid and unpaid work, including volunteer roles through recognized service programs and other organizations.

Applicants must demonstrate experience in clerical or cashier roles, showcasing their ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering high-quality customer service.

Applicants should have a proven track record of resolving basic arithmetic challenges and handling cash transactions accurately.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required. Education may not substitute for the required experience in this position.


Additional Information:
Candidates must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three or more consecutive years are eligible. Male applicants born after a certain date must be registered for Selective Service. Direct deposit is mandatory, and candidates must complete an employment verification check.

This position is part of the Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) system, supporting Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) activities.
