Your Role:

All associates at Lowe's are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring a store environment that is organized, secure, and well-stocked with essential products.


As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their home improvement inquiries.

- Accurately processing orders and deliveries to ensure timely receipt of merchandise.

- Promoting safe work practices and encouraging colleagues to do the same.
The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in shaping the customer experience at Lowe's.

This position is crucial in guiding customers to select appropriate products, ensuring accurate quotes, verifying pricing labels, and fulfilling all customer requirements.

Additionally, this role involves providing outstanding customer service by actively listening to customer needs, leveraging expertise to assist them, and facilitating the loading of merchandise.

It is essential for this associate to remain alert and report any safety or security issues within the store.
The responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative may vary based on the department supported.

Departmental Opportunities:

Customer Service Representatives may work in various areas such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls. Applicants may be considered for any of these departments based on hiring needs and individual skill sets.


Travel Requirements:

This position typically does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, training sessions, or to assist nearby locations.

What We Seek:

Full-Time or Part-Time positions available, generally requiring 39 to 40 hours or up to 25 hours per week, respectively. Additional hours may be needed based on store demands.

Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week is required.

Physical capability to perform tasks that may involve prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary for job duties.

Customer Service Representatives in the Greeter departments must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds without assistance; those in other departments should be able to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- 6 months of experience using a computer for data entry, access, modification, or output.

- 6 months of experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.

- Ability to obtain any required sales-related licensure or registration as mandated by law.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 6 months of sales experience, including identifying and selling products based on customer needs, such as credit cards, installations, and warranties.

- 6 months of retail experience providing customer service, including resolving customer issues, assisting with product location, and building customer relationships.

- Bilingual skills, if applicable to the store.

- Certification in a trade relevant to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials).
