Job Summary

The McNabb Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service and Benefits Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and benefits support to our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide backup support for front desk staff at various locations, including admissions, switchboard, and courier services.
  • Verify client eligibility for services and ensure accurate and timely entry of information into our practice management software.
  • Manage patient eligibility and benefits, including verification of co-pays and insurance coverage.
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy policies are upheld at all times.
  • Provide administrative support, including mail management, data entry, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business or administration preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in a professional healthcare office environment, with a focus on customer service and benefits support.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week with occasional overtime as needed. The successful candidate will be required to work at various locations, including our main office and other outpatient service locations.

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is approximately $16.43 per hour, based on relevant experience and education.
