The Digital Native Team

We're a high-performing team responsible for driving the growth and expansion of Stripe's large and fast-growing clients. Our portfolio includes innovative businesses like TaskRabbit, Handy, Warby Parker, and Everlane, who rely on Stripe for their payment needs.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you'll be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and closing to managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to expand Stripe's footprint within existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute long-term sales strategies to expand Stripe's revenue with existing customers.
  2. Own the full sales cycle, from business case development to deal structuring and negotiating, to close.
  3. Develop account plans and cross-sell into your list of strategic customers, driving growth through expansion and new revenue streams.
  4. Drive deal strategy and commercial negotiations for large, complex renewals.
  5. Develop relationships with executive stakeholders within your book of business, deeply understanding problems they are solving and helping drive to solutions.
  6. Be responsible for account mapping and coordinating effective meetings with the appropriate external stakeholders expanding the customer relationship.
  7. Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process and help shape the Stripe sales culture.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with a strong track record of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product. You should have a deep understanding of technical requirements and be able to craft solutions across multiple products. Additionally, you should be able to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organizations.

We're looking for someone who is a strong communicator, able to work well with a wide range of people, both internally and externally. You should have strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements is also essential.

Finally, you should be able to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment, with a strong interest in technology and a deep understanding of the space.
