Position Overview

The Biomedical Engineer provides essential support to the Supervisory Biomedical Engineer by executing specific assignments as directed. The Clinical Engineering Section is dedicated to supporting various healthcare facilities and outpatient centers.

Eligibility
  • This position is available to the general public, including U.S. Citizens and Nationals.
Key Responsibilities

The duties of this role encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

1. Applying fundamental engineering concepts to deliver biomedical services within the institution, ensuring alignment with operational goals.

2. Engaging in facility-based projects, which may extend to regional or national healthcare technology initiatives.

3. Continuously updating knowledge on emerging technologies, recognizing trends, and sharing insights with fellow technical personnel.

4. Participating in the functions of other hospital departments as part of a rotational program.

5. Attending national training sessions related to the TCF Program Office and Biomedical Engineering.

6. Completing mandatory training and travel as specified by the TCF Biomedical Engineering Program Manager.

7. Maintaining an updated Personal Development Plan (PDP) with documented training activities and progress.

8. Regularly consulting with a mentor to discuss project updates and training advancements, while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to the Medical Center's mission.

Work Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday.

Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary, with regular increments based on performance.

Qualifications

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and meet the following criteria:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is required.

Experience: Relevant experience or certifications in biomedical engineering or related fields is preferred.

Language Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English.

Additional Information

Participation in mandatory health programs and compliance with vaccination requirements is essential for all healthcare personnel.
