Job Summary

Verify is seeking a skilled Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies at various supplier facilities.
  • Inspect parts against engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
  • Report inspection results directly to customers via web application.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections on complex machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Use various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with the AS9102 standard.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Computer savvy and own a laptop for this assignment.
  • Ability to obtain an LLC as an independent contractor.
