Job Title: Manufacturing and Maintenance Manager

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc., a leading global packaging company, is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing and Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing overall leadership and direction for plant maintenance, focusing on equipment reliability and uptime, facilities/utilities maintenance, and systems support to production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Support internal customers in areas such as equipment/line audits, overhauls, and equipment conversion.
  • Interact with other members of the company, manufacturing, corporate technical center, and EH&S to develop strategies, resolve problems, and implement solutions.
  • Manage, coach, and/or develop plant maintenance employees.
  • Prepare and administer department budget within established guidelines for maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
  • Drive root cause identification and analysis for maintenance-related failures and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of maintenance spare parts under inventory control.
  • Arrange for and manage third-party contractor support as needed.
  • Work closely with operations management to ensure production efficiencies are maximized.
  • Responsible as an on-call contact for high-priority issues and emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7+ years of manufacturing facilities/equipment-related experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in a supervisor/leadership position.
  • Experienced in industrial hydraulic and pneumatic principles and their use on mechanical systems.
  • Experience with Environmental, Health, and Safety practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards, specifically NFPA.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, technical manuals, specifications, and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and mathematical skills required.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively interact with internal and external customers on a variety of levels.
  • Ability to work with sufficient speed, accuracy, and attention to detail to perform job functions as required.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
Working Conditions:

Will be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting in a plant environment as well as in an office.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.

The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.

The noise level is frequently loud.
