Job Title: Manufacturing and Maintenance Manager

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc., a global leader in packaging products, seeks a Manufacturing and Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Food Division, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and uptime, facilities and utilities maintenance, and systems support to production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Support internal customers with equipment and line audits, overhauls, and equipment conversion.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop strategies, resolve problems, and implement solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological changes and implement improvements.
  • Manage, coach, and develop plant maintenance employees.
  • Prepare and administer department budgets and secure estimates and cost quotes as needed.
  • Drive root cause identification and analysis for maintenance-related failures and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain inventory control of maintenance spare parts.
  • Arrange for and manage third-party contractor support as needed.
  • Work closely with Operations Management to maximize production efficiencies.
  • Be an on-call contact for high-priority issues and emergencies.
  • Facilitate and support EHS programs, including hazardous waste disposal.
  • Lead by example to instill a world-class safety and housekeeping culture.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7+ years of manufacturing facilities and equipment-related experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a supervisor/leadership position.
  • Experience with industrial hydraulic and pneumatic principles and their use on mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards, specifically NFPA.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, technical manuals, specifications, and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and mathematical skills required.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively interact with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work with sufficient speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
Working Conditions:
  • Will be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting in a plant environment as well as in an office.
  • May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic.
  • May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
  • The noise level is frequently loud.
