Maintenance Worker Job Description

Kelly Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team at a food manufacturing company in Owatonna, MN.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker to perform cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation tasks on the production floor. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 months of sanitation experience and be familiar with working with a Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation tasks on the production floor
  • Operate tote and cardboard baler, trash compactor, and floor scrubbing machine
  • Stock and refill supplies
  • Maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 months of sanitation experience
  • Experience in food or beverage industry preferred
  • Familiarity with working with a Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
  • Knowledge of various cleaning agents and/or chemicals
  • Ability to work with strong cleaning and disinfecting solutions
  • Can use various cleaning tools and supplies in a fast-paced environment
  • Can read, write, and speak English
  • Can operate a scissor/boom lift and floor scrubber
  • Can work with minimal supervision
