Job Title: Back End Maintenance Mechanic

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled Back End Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our back end equipment, including flangers, beaders, light testers, lacquer spray machines, IBOs, palletizer, and strappers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on back end equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment-related issues and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Assist in the training of new maintenance personnel and provide guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, gauges, tools, and equipment.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
