Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Lead the development of comprehensive pricing strategies aligned with business objectives, analyzing pricing trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
  • Promotional Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional campaigns across various channels (online, offline) and customer segments to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness of promotional activities.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to analyze sales data, pricing metrics, and promotional performance, generating actionable insights to inform pricing and promotional decisions, including price elasticity analysis and promotional ROI measurement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product Management to develop integrated pricing and promotional strategies, communicating effectively with stakeholders to gain buy-in and alignment on pricing and promotional initiatives.
  • Price Optimization: Implement pricing optimization methodologies and tools to optimize pricing structures, product bundling, and discount strategies, analyzing pricing elasticity and sensitivity to maximize revenue and profitability, and ideating and executing pricing experiments.
  • Promotion Effectiveness Evaluation: Conduct AB experiments to optimize promotional campaigns, evaluating the effectiveness of promotional campaigns through post-promotion analysis and ROI measurement, identifying key learnings and best practices to improve future promotional initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field, with an advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in pricing strategy development and promotional campaign management, preferably in consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce industries.
  • Strong experience with dynamic pricing, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to translate data insights into actionable pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of pricing methodologies, promotional tactics, and consumer behavior principles, with familiarity with digital marketing channels and e-commerce platforms a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
