Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As the leader of the kitchen, you will be responsible for maintaining our high-quality product, ensuring the integrity of our kitchen systems, and managing the financial well-being of the back of the house.
Key Responsibilities- Complete opening and closing duties to set up the day for success.
- Create prep lists for all kitchen crew and support the preparation of all food items for meal periods and next services.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
- Troubleshoot deficiencies of food items and maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Develop kitchen crew for cross-training and promotion, lead roll-out programs to menus, seasonal items, and recipe changes.
- Minimum 4 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant (annual sales over $8M).
- Ability to analyze financial reports and communicate verbal and written English with guests, management, and co-workers.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, menu items, ingredients, and quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., carry up to 120 feet, and work off counter heights of 36 - 42 inches.
- Competitive salary: $105,000 - $125,000 based on experience + realized bonus.
