The Field Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in showcasing the benefits of the CARFAX product suite, instilling urgency among decision-makers, and successfully closing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing CARFAX Advantage clients, including independent and franchise auto dealerships.
- Conduct visits to automobile dealerships to educate them on leveraging CARFAX Used Car Listings, CARFAX for Life, and other vehicle history solutions to enhance their inventory and build buyer confidence.
- Drive sales of vehicle history products by meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets and participating in sales competitions.
- Manage an assigned sales territory effectively, documenting activities and customer interactions in Salesforce CRM.
- Maintain a consistent level of monthly sales activity and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within media, advertising, or technology sectors; automotive industry experience is advantageous.
- A passionate and competitive mindset; excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills; comprehensive knowledge of CARFAX products; and a consultative sales approach.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
- Proficient in using technology, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones; strong skills in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce CRM is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required for the role.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
