Product Marketing Manager at Ouster

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Manager to join our team at Ouster. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for our core hardware products, specifically our lidar sensors.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for our lidar products, including market research, competitive analysis, and sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technology, including our lidar sensors and their applications, to effectively communicate their value to customers and stakeholders.
  • Design and execute attention-grabbing product launches that differentiate Ouster and expand our addressable markets and use cases.
  • Develop compelling pitches and sales resources needed to improve win rates and close deals faster.
  • Drive campaigns that convert into meaningful new business, including writing compelling content to draw in new leads.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales trends and create models to understand our sales data.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story of how our products solve problems for our customers.
  • Comfort with highly technical details and a strong curiosity about our products and technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, growth-minded company.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Product marketing experience, including product launches, messaging, content creation, and sales enablement.
  • Consulting experience.
  • MBA.
  • Experience with hardware products.
  • Worked with lidar, cameras, radar, or IoT devices before.

We offer a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on skills, work experience, location, and qualifications. This role may also be eligible for equity and benefits. We acknowledge the confidence gap at Ouster and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
