We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Georgia Options Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general accounting functions and processes for the organization and the people it supports.
Key Responsibilities- Paying bills and writing checks for organizational expenses
- Ensuring benefits are deposited in a timely manner
- Inputting all financial transactions into Quickbooks, balancing checkbooks monthly, and providing financial reports
- Reviewing and reconciling receipts to ensure accuracy
- Ensuring assets for each person served remain under $2000 and creating and managing STABLE accounts for individuals with funds over the limit
- Working closely with Community Support Coordinators on large purchases and maintenance needs for the homes of the people we support
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel fluently
- Ability to use Quickbooks
- Ability to perform mathematical computations
- Ability to balance a checkbook and maintain pristine financial records
- Ability to maintain a general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Ability to maintain a strong organization of records
- Ability to deal courteously with the public, other staff, and people served
- Ability to understand the mission and purpose of the organization
- Minimum of Associate's Degree
- At least two years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience required
- Additional year(s) of experience may be substituted for the Associate's Degree
- Fluency in Excel and Quickbooks required
- Experience with payroll preferred
This is an in-office position, requiring a regular Monday-Friday schedule from 9AM-3PM.
