Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on information systems security protocols, risk mitigations, and compliance tools in alignment with U.S. Department of Defense regulations.
  • Oversee information systems security initiatives and guarantee adherence to DoD standards.
  • Design and maintain security-related tools and controls for information systems.
  • Engage in incident response activities involving classified information systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to establish and uphold benchmarks for information security practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Possession of a current Secret-level U.S. government security clearance.
  • Certifications that surpass DoD M IAT Level II criteria.
  • Practical experience in roles such as ISSO, ISSM, or ISSE.

Preferred Skills:

  • Capability to create network and wiring schematics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including bash, Java, and Python.
  • Familiarity with tools such as NESSUS, Splunk, and virtualization technologies.
