Key Responsibilities:

  • As the Cybersecurity Operations Manager, you will oversee the documentation, monitoring, and enhancement of the cybersecurity framework for various information systems within our organization.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide guidance on security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain essential policies and procedures to secure systems and achieve necessary authorizations.
  • Lead initiatives to improve security processes and tools, ensuring alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the closure of security-related action items and ensure ongoing compliance with security measures.
  • Provide expert advice on the integration of new technologies and the management of existing systems.
  • Supervise the patch management process and work with peers to share best practices across teams.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate incident response efforts and ensure effective recovery from security breaches.
  • Mentor and train team members on security practices and procedures.
  • Engage with development teams to ensure timely completion of security-related tasks.
  • Evaluate commercial and government systems against established security frameworks.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years in cybersecurity roles.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to sensitive information.
  • Current Secret-level security clearance with the ability to obtain higher-level clearance.
  • Hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles, particularly in information systems security.
  • Experience in systems administration and cybersecurity support for classified programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in developing security architectures and system diagrams.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and security scanning tools.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks and risk management processes.
  • Prior experience in managing classified program security.
