Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, the Regional Sales Leader will be responsible for effectively guiding, mentoring, and overseeing a team of 8-10 Neuroscience Account Managers. This role entails driving critical strategic initiatives and ensuring successful execution of strategies within the designated region, which encompasses multiple territories.

Key Responsibilities:
The Regional Sales Leader will:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Drive business performance through effective cross-functional leadership and partnership with Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, and other essential stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical sector, with at least 4 years in Sales Management preferred.
  • Proven experience in detailing or leading teams that engage with psychiatrists and/or primary care physicians within the last five years; familiarity with atypical antipsychotics is highly desirable.
  • Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or depression is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and retaining top-tier specialty sales representatives.
  • Strong track record of sales performance and leadership.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits:
The total compensation package for this role includes incentive compensation and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, unlimited paid time off, parental leave, a 401k matching program, a car allowance, and additional employee benefits.
