Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at TEKsystems. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality training programs that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs analysis to identify training gaps and develop training solutions
  • Design and develop training programs using various modalities, including online, virtual instructor-led, and in-person learning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training programs meet business objectives
  • Develop and manage full-cycle training project plans, including tracking and recognizing key milestones
  • Ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and meet expectations
  • Partner with outside vendors to deliver projects that meet expectations on time and within cost
  • Leverage ADDIE model to deliver large-scale learning designs
  • Own the design and development of full-cycle training programs, tools, and resources
  • Design and develop innovative solutions that use a variety of technology tools
  • Lead the creation, deployment, and continuous improvement of training programs
  • Manage existing role-based curriculum and components and update as needed
  • Consult with cross-functional partners to evaluate their training solutions and provide expert knowledge
  • Problem-solve current business issues and creatively identify learning solutions
  • Serve as instructional design expert on project who challenges the status quo by offering creative solutions
  • Clarify and align on the learning objectives for each project and link to performance
  • Educate cross-functional partners on the roles and accountabilities of training
  • Continually look for ways to improve training design to increase training efficiency and produce top business results
  • Measure, monitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of training delivery processes
  • Determine, implement, and evaluate data collected on training effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Communications or related field
  • At least 3 years experience in the role
  • Understanding of ADDIE model and adult learning principles
  • Proficient in utilizing and managing Content Management Systems (CMS) to deliver information
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
