Job Description

Job Summary:

Thrive is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team as a Site Design Specialist. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for performing civil design tasks, including site design, grading, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop site plans, grading plans, and stormwater management systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
  • Provide CAD support using AutoCAD/Civil 3D software.
  • Assist in the development of project proposals and presentations.
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Up to 5 years of civil/site design experience.
  • PE license is a plus, but not required. Ability to obtain PE license in the future.
  • Positive attitude, self-starter, attentiveness to detail, and good communication skills.
