Customer Service Representative

The Receptionist at James Chevrolet will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and representing our dealership as the first point of contact for all clients.
This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to assist with managing daily administrative tasks and supporting the sales and service team.
This is a full-time, individual contributor role within the auto industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome all customers, visitors, and employees with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or individual.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for sales and service departments while maintaining an organized and efficient appointment calendar.
- Maintain and organize customer and dealership records and files.
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist with customer inquiries and route to the appropriate department as needed.
- Support sales and service team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Act as a liaison between customers and dealership departments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
- Follow up with customers to gather feedback and ensure quality service.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the auto industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems independently.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) are strongly preferred.
