Senior Medical Records Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Records Administrator to join our team. This is a fully onsite position in Boston, MA.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for responding to inquiries from patients and DFCI clinical and professional staff regarding release of Protected Health Information (PHI). They will also educate requestors on procedures for obtaining medical record information and follow up with requestors regarding any delays.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to inquiries from patients and DFCI clinical and professional staff regarding release of PHI.
- Educate requestors on procedures for obtaining medical record information.
- Follow up with requestors regarding any delays.
- Review authorization for completeness and follow up as necessary.
- Return requests for insufficient information to clinics, patient or requestor when applicable.
- Process urgent requests as required.
- Medical records experience.
- Prior experience completing or reviewing leave of absence forms.
- EMR experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office proficient.
- Highly detail oriented.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.
