As a Medical Records Coordinator at TEKsystems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless management of Protected Health Information (PHI).

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced professional to act as the liaison between our Leave of Absence Team and the Release of Information (ROI) Team. You will be responsible for handling all forms, documentation, outreach, and communication related to leave of absence requests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from patients, DFCI clinical staff, and professional staff regarding the release of PHI.
  • Educate requestors on procedures for obtaining medical record information.
  • Follow up with requestors regarding any delays or issues.
  • Process urgent requests as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in administrative work, medical records, ROI, or insurance claims.
  • Excellent typing skills (45 WPM+)
  • High School diploma or GED (Associate's degree preferred)
  • Strong customer service experience and computer system knowledge.
