Job Summary

This Client Director role is responsible for driving strategy and growth for global clients or major regional accounts. The focus is on expanding new business within the account, meeting sales quotas, and establishing executive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute global client strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers within large multi-national companies.
  • Manage and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and expand client relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market research to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Gartner's sales methodology, products, and services.
  • Lead and manage remote sales teams to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Manage forecast accuracy and provide regular business updates to senior leadership.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of external experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services or software).
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of global account planning and territory management.
  • Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within large multi-national companies.
  • Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value-added insights, and strategic guidance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers and industry trends.
  • Extensive and relevant industry knowledge, specific to vertical markets per territory.
  • Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the full lifecycle of the sales process.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree - desired.
