Our client, a prominent North American producer of commercial refrigeration systems, is seeking to enhance their St. Louis, MO team with a dedicated Call Center Agent. This position is entirely remote; however, candidates must reside in the St. Louis area for potential office visits during special circumstances.

Job Overview:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage incoming service calls from clients and ascertain their location. Collect relevant details regarding the purpose of the call. 2. Assess the urgency of the service request and establish customer expectations. 3. Input necessary information into the system and forward the call to the suitable dispatch center for technician deployment. 4. During weekends and outside business hours, coordinate the dispatch of on-call technicians. 5. Verify if the equipment is covered under warranty; if not, communicate expectations to the customer. 6. Oversee the status of Priority 1 work orders to ensure timely handling. 7. Address various types of inbound calls and adhere to established procedures to meet customer needs promptly. 8. Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor. 9.

Maintain a consistently high level of professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma is mandatory. Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service. Exceptional telephone and communication skills. Capability to thrive in a high-volume call environment. Strong customer service aptitude and flexibility in working hours. Basic computer skills are necessary, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to collaborate within a team and a commitment to ongoing learning through cross-training. Competence in following procedures. Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
