Our client, a prominent North American producer of commercial refrigeration systems, is seeking to enhance their St. Louis, MO operations by adding a Customer Support Specialist. This position will be fully remote; however, candidates must reside in the St. Louis area for potential office visits during special circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Respond to service inquiries from clients and ascertain their location. Collect relevant details regarding the purpose of the call. 2. Assess the urgency of the service request and manage client expectations accordingly. 3. Input necessary information into the system and route the call to the suitable dispatch center for technician assignment. 4. During weekends and after hours, coordinate the dispatch of on-call technicians. 5. Verify if the equipment is under warranty; if not, communicate expectations to the client. 6. Track the progress of Priority 1 work orders to ensure timely resolution. 7. Address various inbound calls while adhering to established procedures to meet client needs promptly. 8. Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

It is essential to consistently exhibit and uphold a high standard of professionalism towards both internal and external clients.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service
• Exceptional telephone and communication skills
• Capability to thrive in a high-volume call environment
• Strong customer service aptitude and flexibility in working hours
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and a commitment to ongoing learning through cross-training
• Competence in following procedures
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
