Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Real Estate and Corporate Legal Assistant to join our team at Rudman & Winchell LLC.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and organized professional to support our growing real estate department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to our attorneys, preparing and editing documents, managing files, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, knowledge of legal principles, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality documents and correspondence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to our attorneys, including preparing and editing documents, managing files, and maintaining confidentiality of client matters.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and edit a wide range of documents, including letters, memos, and other correspondence, utilizing legal formats and terminology.
  • File Management: Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date files, including client and corporate files, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, attorneys, and other staff members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm or related industry.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; knowledge of legal principles and terminology; proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management applications.
