Leasing Agent/Administrative Assistant

Harbor Management is a dynamic real estate company based in Bangor, Maine.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Leasing Agent/Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Bangor office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leasing apartments, ensuring applicants and residents meet eligibility criteria for low-income tax credit housing programs, maintaining strong resident relations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease apartments and manage tenant relationships
  • Verify applicant and resident eligibility for low-income tax credit housing programs
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve resident issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
  • Able to acquire Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) Certifications within 1 year of employment
