Job Description

As a Primary Care Physician Assistant with Liberty Healthcare, your role will focus on providing primary care to patients in the hospital's onsite medical clinic. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting histories and physicals for hospital patients and new admissions
  2. Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical issues
  3. Prescribing medications, monitoring efficacy, and modifying drug regimens
  4. Referring patients for diagnostic and specialty services
  5. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including Primary Care Physicians, Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, and Registered Nurses

Please note that this role does not involve providing psychiatric or mental health services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must be licensed professionally in Maine as a Physician Assistant and have expertise in general medicine/primary care.
