Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Corporate Legal Assistant Professional to join our team at Rudman & Winchell LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our commercial real estate and corporate legal departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client and general corporate files, ensuring accurate and timely processing of documents.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, utilizing express delivery services as necessary.
  • Respond to telephone calls, recording messages accurately and directing calls to relevant personnel.
  • Prepare and edit documents drafted by attorneys, adhering to legal formats and terminology.
  • Collaborate with other corporate department support staff to prepare annual minutes.
  • Maintain the corporate client database, ensuring current information is stored in both the database and corporate books and files.
  • Operate various office equipment, including computers, photocopiers, and scanners/fax machines.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Possess knowledge of legal principles, practices, and terminology for real estate and corporate transactions.
  • Exhibit good quality keyboarding skills and intermediate level knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office and document management applications.
  • Show ability to assemble files and utilize alphabetical, numerical, and chronological filing guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
