Position Overview:
Patch is in search of a knowledgeable Carbon Markets Lead to strengthen the demand side of our marketplace.

This position will collaborate with entrepreneurs, technologists, and sustainability experts at the forefront of directing funds towards carbon removal and carbon markets.

You will cultivate strong relationships with both new and existing demand partners while providing guidance on climate strategies. This role is integral to our customer-facing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advise organizations and internal stakeholders on climate action strategies utilizing the Patch platform and ecosystem.
- Identify and develop business cases for innovative technical and commercial solutions informed by carbon market trends.
- Collaborate with Patch's Go-to-Market, Supply, and Partnerships teams to meet commercial objectives related to Carbon Markets.
- Ensure a positive, customer-centric experience throughout all team and customer interactions.
- Serve as the primary carbon contact for Patch's Go-To-Market team, addressing technical climate and carbon inquiries while delivering valuable market insights.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in carbon removal strategies, carbon credits, voluntary carbon markets, and direct engagement with customers, clients, project developers, and partners in a sales capacity.

A strong background in technology-driven carbon removal is preferred.

You should have a solid understanding of voluntary carbon credits, offtake strategies, carbon finance, climate solution technologies, and market dynamics.

You are a structured thinker with a knack for problem-solving.

Your ability to develop clear and effective frameworks will guide others through your consultative process.

Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling you to convey complex climate and carbon concepts in accessible terms for diverse audiences. You have a proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with teams such as Go-to-Market and Partnerships.

$165K - $230K

Estimated On Target Earnings (Including Base Salary and Commission) $165K – $230K
