**Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences**

As a key member of the Michael's Inc team, you will play a vital role in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and deliver effective front-end operations and expectations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Lead and Manage Store Operations**: Assist the Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • **Drive Front-End Performance**: Ensure all front-end policies and procedures are followed, achieve your KPIs, and manage your team to achieve their role KPIs.
  • **Plan and Execute Events**: Plan and lead the execution of class and in-store events in accordance with Company programs.
  • **Omnichannel Leadership**: Lead the omnichannel processes, ensuring a cohesive and seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • **Shrink and Safety Management**: Manage and execute shrink and safety programs, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment.
  • **Cash Handling and Inventory**: Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits, as well as inventory processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities.
  • **Team Development**: Train, observe, and coach the customer experience team (sales floor and cashier) to achieve results, participate in the performance management process, and support Talent Development of your team.
  • **Manager on Duty**: Serve as Manager on Duty, ensuring the smooth operation of the store during your shift.
  • **Interpersonal Skills**: Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations, and promote commitment to the organization's vision and values.
  • **Customer Service**: Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • **Truck Unloading and Stocking**: Participate in the truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
  • **Custom Framing**: Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production, and lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to our customers on time.
