About the Role

Clinical Management Consultants is seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Clinical Access Manager to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring efficient patient access and care coordination within our hospital, contributing to the overall patient experience and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Patient Access and Flow: Manage all aspects of patient access and flow within the hospital, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Lead and Mentor a Team: Lead and mentor a team of access coordinators and nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and Implement Policies: Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline patient access processes and improve patient experience.
  • Monitor and Analyze Patient Flow Metrics: Monitor and analyze patient flow metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize bed utilization and reduce wait times.
  • Coordinate with Clinical and Administrative Departments: Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration regarding patient access and resource allocation.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies related to patient admissions and transfers.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Manage the daily operations of the Clinical Access Department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Participate in Hospital-Wide Initiatives: Participate in hospital-wide initiatives and committees focused on improving patient access and care coordination.
  • Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on best practices for patient access and flow management.
