Job Summary:

University House Issaquah is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Food Server to join our Dining Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests to our full-service restaurant are treated to a world-class dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food servers and other dining staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members to ensure they meet the high standards of our dining services.
  • Conduct regular inventory and reconciliation of food and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with the Dining Services Director to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure that all dining areas are clean, well-maintained, and ready for service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a food service management role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Food Handler's Certificate, or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire.
  • Washington State Alcohol Permit, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire (if applicable).
