Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Scheduling Analyst plays a crucial role in managing all scheduling and timekeeping functions for designated areas within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

(The following duties are representative of the work performed in this position and are not exhaustive.)

  1. Develops and optimizes weekly departmental schedules to align workforce with operational demands.
  2. Ensures compliance with collective bargaining agreements in all scheduling activities.
  3. Monitors daily productivity metrics and provides staffing recommendations to enhance departmental efficiency.
  4. Observes operational trends to assess business volumes and identify staffing needs.
  5. Facilitates all scheduling and administrative tasks for the assigned areas of the organization.
  6. Reviews and corrects time entries, oversees daily departmental time reports, and adjusts job/department codes as needed.
  7. Collaborates with Human Resources and Payroll on matters related to paid time off, leaves of absence, attendance, payroll processing, and other administrative support functions.
  8. Communicates changes regarding exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and departmental transfers to Human Resources and Payroll.
  9. Maintains confidentiality and safeguards sensitive employee information.
  10. Responds to inquiries and phone calls promptly.
  11. Delivers exceptional internal service to all team members and operators in a courteous and responsive manner.
  12. Creates an inclusive and supportive environment for all staff members.
  13. Assists the Operations Analyst with special projects, reporting, and additional administrative tasks as required.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Non-Essential Duties:

  1. Participates in training and seminars as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

(Relevant education and experience may be considered interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.)

A high school diploma is required; a college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
