Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support designated software applications utilized in Patient Financial Services and Revenue Cycle areas, adhering to departmental standards and protocols.
- Act as a liaison with Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) and third-party vendors to enhance system functionality and manage upgrades, including testing and validation.
- Develop and generate reports using various applications, analyzing outcomes to maintain data integrity and identify strategic trends.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree in Information Systems or a related field.
- 5 years of equivalent experience.
- Epic Hospital Billing and/or Epic Clarity Data Model certification preferred within one year.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support third-party systems by maintaining, troubleshooting, and serving as a liaison to vendors.
- Provide documented solutions to issues and execute application design changes as per established procedures.
- Develop comprehensive application test plans and conduct thorough testing to ensure requirements are met.
- Offer user training and support to customers and operational staff.
- Document application requests using the Service Request system and manage user access security.
System Management:
- Define and design system parameters to optimize application functionality.
- Collaborate with vendors and end users to evaluate and implement products.
- Design ad-hoc reports to fulfill customer requests and automate reporting where applicable.
Customer Engagement:
- Facilitate meetings with end users to develop consensus and enhance client satisfaction.
- Assist in the implementation of new third-party systems that support the Revenue Cycle.
Project Support:
- Provide detailed task-level input for project plans, including schedules and required skill sets.
- Document and ensure timely resolution of project issues while coordinating effectively with team members and vendors.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary, including providing backup support for other application analysts.
